Marcus waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Flower Mound Jaguars 62-46. Given the Marauders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Jaguars are ranked 414th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marcus' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Flower Mound, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marcus will head out to challenge Little Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Little Elm has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three contests. As for Flower Mound, they will head out on the road to square off against Coppell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
