Cobden is 10-0 against Shawnee since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Despite the loss, Shawnee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kyler Jewell posted 22 points. Conner Wilson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Cobden has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything came up roses for Cobden against Shawnee in their previous meeting on Thursday, as the squad secured a 60-31 win. In that matchup, Cobden amassed a halftime lead of 34-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
