Recap: Casa Roble Rams vs. Woodland Wolves
The Casa Roble Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 90-58 win over Woodland on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Casa Roble who now have nine in a row.
Casa Roble was led to victory by Travis Remly and Benny Ambriz. Remly dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Ambriz scored 27 points along with three steals. Ambriz hasn't dropped below 15points for 15 straight games. Another player making a difference was Preston Scott, who scored 14 points.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lincoln Twilley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Twilley hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Dylan Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Casa Roble is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Woodland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Casa Roble will head out on the road to square off against Rio Linda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Linda is on a three-game streak of home wins, Casa Roble a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Woodland will take on Mesa Verde at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mesa Verde is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
