Basketball Recap: Clintonville Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Clintonville Truckers were beaten by the Kiel Raiders 58-31. While losing is never fun, the Truckers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 455th, while the Raiders are ranked 96th).

Clintonville dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Kiel, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

When Clintonville and Kiel next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Clintonville will try to stop Marinette's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Kiel will square off against Sheboygan Falls and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
