Football Recap: Benton Falls Short of St. Joseph-Ogden in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Benton and St. Joseph-Ogden squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Benton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 17-14. The contest marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nolan Schafer and Riley Spencer certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Schafer picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Spencer rushed for 71 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Benton fell to 9-1. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
