Volleyball Recap: De La Salle Meteors vs. Providence Catholic Celtics
De La Salle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Catholic Celtics. The Meteors were not able to make up for their loss to the Celtics from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12.
De La Salle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Providence Catholic, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De La Salle will take on Whitney Young at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Providence Catholic, they will square off against Hinsdale South at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
