Soccer Recap: Delta Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Delta hasn't lost a match since September 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Evergreen Vikings. Delta were shut out 1-0 the last time they took on Evergreen, so Delta were just returning the favor.

Adrianna Dunning and Mckenzie Kruger scored both of Delta's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Delta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five contests. As for Evergreen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.

Delta has already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Toledo Christian on the 2nd. As for Evergreen, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Genoa Area on the 2nd.
