Basketball Recap: Holmes Huskies vs. Warren Warriors
Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Warren Warriors and fell 102-63. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-40 back in December of 2024.

Noah Smith and Joseph Ramon certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Smith posted 20 points, while Ramon scored 15 points. That's the most points Smith has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ricky Garcia, who had nine points.
Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Warren, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-15.
Holmes will welcome Sotomayor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Warren, they will square off against Stevens at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Warren has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
