Basketball Game Preview: North Stokes Vikings vs. East Surry Cardinals + How To Watch

North Stokes is 0-10 against East Surry since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will head out to take on the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

North Stokes is leaving town to face East Surry after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Vikings fell 60-56 to West Davidson on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, East Surry was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 63-62 to Southwest Guilford.

North Stokes will need to focus on slowing down Emory Anderson, one of several East Surry players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 15 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Leah Simpson, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds.

North Stokes was dealt a bruising 65-37 loss at the hands of East Surry when the teams last played back in February of 2021. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
