Basketball Recap: Antelope Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Antelope couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Destiny Christian Academy Lions on Friday, falling 68-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since January 17th.

Despite the loss, Antelope still got an impressive performance from Quentin Mitchell, who went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Mitchell a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Zachery Caspillo was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Destiny Christian Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-11.

Antelope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they will face off against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Destiny Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.
