Basketball Game Preview: South San Francisco Warriors vs. Terra Nova Tigers

South San Francisco is 2-8 against Terra Nova since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The South San Francisco Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Terra Nova Tigers at 7:45 p.m.

Last Wednesday, South San Francisco didn't have quite enough to beat Sequoia and fell 57-54. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Ravens 17-12 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Terra Nova earned a 78-65 win over Mills on Wednesday.

Terra Nova pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for South San Francisco, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

South San Francisco took a serious blow against Terra Nova in their previous meeting back in January, falling 86-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Terra Nova's Chase Russel, who went 8 of 11 en route to 23 points.
