Volleyball Recap: South Gallia Rebels vs. Western Indians
If South Gallia was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Symmes Valley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Western Indians on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.
The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-19, 27-25.
Aubrey Penwell was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 digs and four assists. Those four assists gave her a new career-high. Maddy Walls also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
