Soccer Game Preview: Madison vs. Enka + How To Watch

Madison hasn't had much luck against Enka recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Jets at 6:45 p.m. Madison has given up an average of 5.3 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Madison's offense. They lost 8-0 to Owen on Monday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Madison's Charlie Bender and Owen's Jasper Sterley and Spencer Woolley were all carded.

Meanwhile, Enka made easy work of North Buncombe on Wednesday and carried off a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for Enka, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Enka is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those ten matchups. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Madison came up short against Enka in their previous matchup back in August of 2021, falling 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
