League recap: Bishop Guilfoyle gets lift from Pugh's big bat

Jextin Pugh was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .400 average, one home run and two RBIs. Meanwhile, Bishop Guilfoyle put together a 1-1 week.

First place in the league belongs to the Marauders, which have compiled a 16-6 overall record to go with their 12-3 league record. Penn Cambria is in second place, two games behind with a 10-5 record in league play.

The Panthers' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing nine hits and three walks to lead the league in both categories. Penn Cambria has given up a mere 112 hits on the year, while striking out 141 opposing hitters. Jordon Fuller is the leader in that category with 91 Ks on the season.
