Basketball Recap: Fargo South Comes Up Short

Fargo South lost against Sheyenne back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fargo South Bruins took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheyenne Mustangs. The game marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Fargo South and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Sheyenne, they pushed their record up to 1-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Fargo South and Richfield will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Sheyenne, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mandan at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mandan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sheyenne surely won't give up without a fight.
