Recap: Sunset Bison vs. Kimball Knights

The Sunset Bison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Kimball at home and fell 93-29. Sunset has not had much luck with Kimball recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Sunset saw an underclassman step up: Jason Watson scored nine points.

Kimball's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaylon Dean-vines led the charge by scoring 15 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tra'vion Rhinehart, who scored 13 points along with three steals.

Sunset has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Kimball, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-11.

Sunset will head out on the road to take on White at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. Kimball will take on Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.2 points per game.
