Softball Recap: West Brook Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

West Brook's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 14-11 victory over the Nederland Bulldogs. That three run margin sets a new team best for the Bruins this season.

The team relied heavily on Keyunna Thomas (2026), who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kya Hadnot (2025), who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

With the win, West Brook broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9. As for Nederland, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Coming up, West Brook will welcome Lee at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
