Basketball Recap: Wahpeton Takes a Loss

Wahpeton lost against Valley City back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wahpeton Huskies fell 53-40 to the Valley City Hi-Liners. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Hi-Liners are ranked ninth).

Wahpeton has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. The victory was the 12th in a row for Valley City, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

Wahpeton has already played their next game (against Kindred), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
