Basketball Recap: Baylor Red Raiders vs. Cleveland Blue Raiders
Baylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 55-13 loss at the hands of the Cleveland Blue Raiders. The matchup marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Cleveland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Hurst out in front who went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points and three blocks. The game was Hurst's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ilianis Rodriguez, who made all 5 shots she took for 13 points and six steals.
Baylor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Cleveland, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.
