Soccer Recap: Jackson-Olin Takes a Loss

Jackson-Olin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Huffman Vikings. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Jackson-Olin couldn't quite close it out.

Jackson-Olin's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Huffman, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7-1.

Coming up, Jackson-Olin will be playing in front of their home fans against Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson-Olin will be up against Parker's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Huffman, they will square off against Minor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
