Basketball Recap: Schenectady Comes Up Short

Schenectady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Bethlehem Central Eagles, falling 89-14. The Patriots lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 86-33 score last time.

Schenectady's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bethlehem Central, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schenectady will take on Columbia in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Schenectady surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bethlehem Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Kingston at 11:00 a.m. on December 27th.
