It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Forge Christian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the North Fork Miners as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Fury are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.
Forge Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Fork between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-18.
Addison Davis paced Forge Christian's offense, picking up 20 kills. Davis got some help from Abby Nance and her 32 assists. Nance was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for North Fork, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9.
