Volleyball Recap: PikeView Comes Up Short

PikeView was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

PikeView's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-3 record this season.

PikeView has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Ripley on the 20th. As for Woodrow Wilson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Greenbrier West on the 20th.
