Cedar barely beat Canyon View the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Reds never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Reds, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Sadie Parson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Cedar, bringing their record up to 20-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Canyon View, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16.
Looking ahead, Cedar will face off against American Fork at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Canyon View, they will take on Juab at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wasps have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.94 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
