Andy Wayne Game Report: @ Mattituck

Andy Wayne gave up the fewest hits he has since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Wayne's effort led Pierson over Mattituck and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tuckers are limping into the matchup having lost 11 straight on the road dating back to last season.
