Softball Recap: Isle of Wight Academy Takes a Loss

Isle of Wight Academy fell victim to Broadwater Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Isle of Wight Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Broadwater Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Isle of Wight Academy will host Norfolk Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Broadwater Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against StoneBridge at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
