Volleyball Recap: Clemente Comes Up Short

Clemente was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Phoenix Military Firebirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 2nd.

Clemente's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Phoenix Military, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Clemente has already played their next matchup (against Disney II), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Phoenix Military, after both having extra time off, they and Foreman will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
