Basketball Game Preview: Lake Oswego Lakers vs. Tigard Tigers

The Lake Oswego Lakers will take on the Tigard Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Lake Oswego and three for Tigard.

On Tuesday, Lake Oswego lost to Lakeridge at home by a 69-53 margin.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Tigard faced off against West Linn on Friday. Tigard came up short against West Linn, falling 73-53. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Lions are ranked third).

Lake Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Tigard, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Lake Oswego was able to grind out a solid win over Tigard in their previous meeting on February 4th, winning 68-58. Does Lake Oswego have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tigard turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
