Volleyball Recap: Dawson School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dawson School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Front Range Christian Falcons, falling 3-0. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-16.

Dawson School's offense was headlined by Sora Payvar and Ilaria Eliopolous, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Gabby Green and her ten assists.

Leading Front Range Christian to victory were Fio Sarlo and Morgan Battey. Sarlo had 12 digs and three aces, while Battey had ten digs. Battey is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Dawson School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Front Range Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11.

Coming up, Dawson School is taking a road trip to take on Campion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Front Range Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Denver Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
