Basketball Recap: Crookston Pirates vs. Perham Yellowjackets
Crookston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 68-41 defeat at the hands of the Perham Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 113th).
Kaia Anderson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Perham, going 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points in addition to six boards and five assists.
