East New York Family Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over the Curtis Warriors on Tuesday. East New York Family Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Arianna Mercado was her usual excellent self, putting up 24 points along with eight assists and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last 18 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amariah Clyne, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.

East New York Family Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-9. As for Curtis, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Coming up, East New York Family Academy will face off against Tottenville at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Curtis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
