Michael Dejohn Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Kelseyville's Michael Dejohn, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dejohn rushed for 265 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114.5). Those 265 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The win (which was Kelseyville's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Dejohn and Kelseyville will take on Willits at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

This season, Garman has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 95.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging ten rushing yards per game.

Willits Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Kolbe Bufardeci

Willits picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kolbe Bufardeci. Nobody could stop Bufardeci as he made five total tackles and defended a pass. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass.

For the season, Bufardeci has averaged 9.1 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 26.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 74 rushing yards.

Sam Beck Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Friday, St. Helena got the W thanks in part to Sam Beck playing the best football he has all season. Beck rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown.
