Minico came into Thursday's contest having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks 10-9. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered an 18-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.
