 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Palestine-Wheatley, Baptist Prep was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jacksonville Titans  and snuck past  8-6.
  Titus Yager was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaron Fielder, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Baptist Prep now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Jacksonville, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9-1.
 Baptist Prep will be playing at home against Mayflower at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Baptist Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11.5  runs per game this season. As for Jacksonville, they will head out on the road to  challenge  ESTEM at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. ESTEM is coming into the  match with five straight  losses at home,  meaning Jacksonville will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
