Soccer Game Preview: Roaring Fork vs. Battle Mountain

The Roaring Fork Rams will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Battle Mountain Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Roaring Fork is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Fruita Monument on March 14th. Roaring Fork took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fruita Monument.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Battle Mountain). They never let Sand Creek get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Battle Mountain with their most commanding win of the season.

Battle Mountain pushed their record up to 4-1-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for Roaring Fork, they now have a losing record of 0-1-1.
