            The Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions will challenge the Legacy Christian Academy Knights at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Emmanuel Christian Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Legacy Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, Emmanuel Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Greenon and fell  5-4. The Lions have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
  Gage Bradley was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  hits were  his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Grayson Lisle, who  went 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Legacy Christian Academy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over Emmanuel Christian Academy  on Monday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Jacob Thompson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). He also  tossed a  walk, which is notable because Legacy Christian Academy is 2-1 when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 2-4 otherwise. Thompson was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  doubles and one  run.
 Thompson wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Nathan Whitt, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run. Another  was  David Cancino, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Legacy Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.
