Basketball Game Preview: Tioga Bulldogs vs. Slidell Greyhounds

The Tioga Bulldogs and the Slidell Greyhounds will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Tioga has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Slidell will arrive with 12 straight victories.

Tioga came up short against Lindsay on Friday, falling 60-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Knights since January 29, 2021.

Meanwhile, Slidell got the win against Era on Friday by a conclusive 73-51. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Slidell's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Tioga, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.
