Football Recap: Moussa Fall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Macdonald over Jefferson + How To Watch

If MacDonald was feeling good fresh off their 44-7 takedown of Cupertino last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Condor came up short against the Jefferson Grizzlies on Friday, falling 41-20. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Condor, who until this game were averaging 12.5 points allowed.

MacDonald's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Moussa Fall, who threw for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards and one score.

Dominic Howard had a dynamite game For Jefferson., rushing for 96 yards and one TD on only ten carries. Robert Saulny-Green was in the mix too, providing the Grizzlies with two touchdowns.

Having lost for the first time this season, MacDonald fell to 5-1. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

MacDonald has already played their next contest, a 20-14 win against El Camino on the 16th. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 22-6 victory against Monta Vista on the 17th.
