Volleyball Recap: Elizabeth (Lizzie) Steinkamp and Alyssandra (Alyssa) Cabalatungan Secure Win for Seton Catholic + How To Watch

Seton Catholic's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Florence Gophers by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Gophers: they've now won five in a row.

Seton Catholic got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 29-31, 25-20.

Leading Seton Catholic to victory were Alyssandra (Alyssa) Cabalatungan and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Steinkamp. (Alyssa) Cabalatungan had 16 digs and one assist, while (Lizzie) Steinkamp had 21 kills, 20 digs, three aces, and one block. (Lizzie) Steinkamp is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.

The victory got Seton Catholic back to even at 4-4. As for Florence, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Coincidentally, Seton Catholic and Florence will both be playing Apache Junction the next time they take the court. The Gophers will head out to face the Prospectors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Sentinels will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
