Recap: Oroville Tigers vs. Chico Panthers        
        
		
            
 The Oroville Tigers pushed their score all the way to 58 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Chico  62-58. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oroville in their matchups with Chico: they've now lost four in a row.
 Oroville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kevin Taylor, who  scored 17 points. The  match was  Taylor's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ethan Broussard, who  scored 12 points along with six  assists and five  rebounds.
 Oroville  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only  an  offensive rebound. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Leading Chico to victory were  Luca  Barroso and  Jaden Neugebauer.  Barroso  scored 13 points, while  Neugebauer  scored nine points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was  Kade Roberson, who  scored six points along with seven  rebounds.
 Oroville's loss was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Chico, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
 Oroville won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Futures at 4:00  p.m.  on December 15th. Futures is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last six games. As for Chico, they will take on Santa Rosa at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
