Softball Game Preview: Newark Reds vs. Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders

For the second straight game, Newark will face off against Palmyra-Macedon. The Reds will be playing at home against the Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newark has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Newark is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Palmyra-Macedon. On the bright side, the 14- run effort marked the Reds' highest-scoring contest to date.
