Basketball Recap: River View Comes Up Short

River View lost to Man back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders received a blow as they fell 60-46 to the Hillbillies. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Man to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryson Wingler, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Wingler is becoming a predictor of the Hillbillies' success: when he posts at least eight boards the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Sanders, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds.

River View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Man, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

River View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Man, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-52 win against Sherman on the 28th.
