Volleyball Recap: Vinton-Shellsburg Comes Up Short

Vinton-Shellsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Benton Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Vinton-Shellsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Benton, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Vinton-Shellsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East Marshall on the 13th. As for Benton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against West Marshall on the 13th.
