Soccer Game Preview: Valor Christian vs. Fort Collins

The Valor Christian Eagles will challenge the Fort Collins Lambkins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles two weeks ago. Valor Christian and Broomfield finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Valor Christian's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Paige Bundy, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Fort Collins didn't have quite enough to beat Fossil Ridge on Thursday and fell 2-1. Fort Collins haven't had much luck with Fossil Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Valor Christian's draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-1. As for Fort Collins, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Valor Christian skirted past Fort Collins 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Valor Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fort Collins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
