Baseball Recap: Cedar Cliff Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Cedar Cliff barely beat Mifflin County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colts never let the Huskies get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. Considering the Colts have won six games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Peyton Price looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Grant Enders was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Boblick, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Cedar Cliff always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Cedar Cliff, bringing their record up to 13-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Mifflin County, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Cedar Cliff will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair will be back at it again later today.
