Soccer Recap: Paragould Starts Season with Win Against Southside

Paragould had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Southside Southerners on Thursday. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Griffin Osborn and Denis Martinez scored both of Paragould's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Paragould has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Brookland on the 7th. Southside will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on April 8th.
