Basketball Recap: Diagonal Takes a Loss

Diagonal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 63-24 loss at the hands of the Twin Cedars Sabers. That's two games in a row now that the Maroons have lost by exactly 39 points.

Diagonal's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Twin Cedars, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

When Diagonal and Twin Cedars next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Diagonal will try to stop Murray's three-game winning streak when the meet on January 10, 2025. Similarly, Twin Cedars will square off against Collins-Maxwell and their six-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
