Basketball Recap: Dylan Johns' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Leetonia over David Anderson

Leetonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-40 to the David Anderson Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly ten points.

Leetonia lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dylan Johns, who posted nine points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ethan Mathia, who earned eight points.

Leetonia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for David Anderson, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Leetonia will venture away from home to face off against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for David Anderson, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Academy for Urban Scholars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
