Omar Loya Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Dexter was led to victory by  Omar Loya, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Loya rushed for 202 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  win for Dexter keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Loya and Dexter will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hatch Valley at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

George Made His Presence Known in Dexter's  44-29 Win
 Dexter picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Kaesn George. George was unstoppable, rushing for 100 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in October of 2023.
 If history really does repeat itself,  George might just drop another big game when he faces off against Hatch Valley on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time  George saw the Bears), he picked up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Orrin Russell Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
 Hatch Valley was led to victory by  Orrin Russell, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Russell rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Hatch Valley and  bumps their season record up to 5-3. Russell and Hatch Valley will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dexter at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

A Season-Best  Effort from  Cohen Tomasits Leads New Mexico Military Institute over Cathedral
 On Thursday, New Mexico Military Institute got the W thanks in part to  Cohen Tomasits playing the best football he has all season. Tomasits rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Tomasits might have his next game, a road matchup with Ruidoso, circled on his calendar. When  Tomasits last faced the Warriors  back in October of 2023, he rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown.

New Mexico Military Institute Gets a Boost from Seidenberger in  33-21  Win
 Keeping Tomasits company is  Cole Seidenberger, a fellow New Mexico Military Institute player. He rushed for 31 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 142 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making two total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 This year,  Seidenberger  has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 61.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had seven  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.
