4A Region 8 Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played on Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Kaden Vest Posts Another Huge Game Against Uintah

Starting off the list is Spanish Fork's Kaden Vest, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vest rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Uintah on Thursday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Vest's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.

If the past is any indication, Vest could be in store for another big game when he takes on Mountain View on Friday. Vest rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 50 receiving yards the last time he and the Bruins duked it out back in September of 2023.
